Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the at the time. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix finished high school and signed a pro-contract for Adidas. In the year 2004, she began her studies at her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes in her respective events.
